Set preferences and find help

Choose the language Mind Map Studio uses, review recent changes, open the shortcut guide, and find the support options available to your account.

Language and theme settings are personal preferences. They do not change the map for other users.

#Follow Jira's language

1. Open More actions in the map header.
2. Select Language.
3. Select Use Jira language.

Mind Map Studio follows Jira when the Jira language is supported. If it cannot match the Jira language, it uses English.

#Choose another language

1. Open More actions > Language.
2. Choose a language from the list.

The interface changes immediately and keeps the override until you choose another language or return to Use Jira language.

If the preference cannot be saved, Mind Map Studio restores the last saved language and shows a warning. Your map content is not changed.

#Rename progress statuses

Open More actions > Status names to give the four map-progress states clearer names for your workspace. Leave a field blank to use its default name, or select Reset all to default to clear every custom name.

Changing a visible name does not change the status rules or Jira issue statuses.

#View recent product changes

Select What's New? at the bottom of the sidebar, or open More actions > What's New?.

The release-notes window summarizes recent user-visible changes. Select Got it, thanks! when you are finished. You can reopen it at any time.

#Open the keyboard shortcut guide

Use any of these methods:

• Select Keyboard shortcuts and gestures at the bottom of the sidebar.
• Open More actions > Keyboard shortcuts and gestures.
• Press ? while you are not typing in a field.

The guide groups shortcuts for ideas, the clipboard, the canvas, navigation, and progress. Select Got it or close the window to return to the map.

#Join the support community

1. Open More actions.
2. Select Discord support community.

Mind Map Studio opens the external Discord community. Use it for product questions, discussion, and feedback. No response time is promised in the app.

If the link does not open, allow external links for the Jira site and try again.

#Request a feature

1. Open More actions.
2. Select Request a feature.
3. Review the prepared message in your email application.
4. Add the problem you want to solve and any useful context, then send it.

Submitting an idea does not guarantee that it will be added or provide a delivery date.

#Open the VIP email option

Select VIP Support & Onboarding to open a prepared email in your mail application. Review its project and site context before sending it.

The action's name does not confirm an entitlement, appointment, or response time. It only prepares an email for you to review and send.
